Our aim is to provide one of the most cost effective and targetted advertising mediums for businesses providing a range of services to new start-up companies and small and medium sized companies all over Ireland. We offer a number of directory listing options, opportunities to promote business2business services, trade exhibitions and training courses as well as banner advertising throughout our site.
A Few Terms and Conditions
- To ensure a better click through rate and value for money for our advertisers, there is a limit on the number of listings accepted for any particular category. For sections where listings are accepted on a county basis (eg Accountants or Website Design) a maximum of ten listings are accepted for each of the following: Dublin City, Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown, Fingal, South Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick. For all other areas the maximum is seven listings. To ensure that there is a good population base of at least 100,000 some counties may be combined (eg Carlow and Laois).
- Where categories are national (eg Office Supplies), the number of listings is capped at fifteen and the number of Featured Listings at five.
- The number of Banner listings is capped at four per county (eg Wicklow, Dublin City) such that your banner advertisement will be displayed on 50% of all page impressions relating to the news category for that particular county. The cost of the banner is not included but can be provided for a once-off nominal cost of EUR 20+VAT. Otherwise simply provide us with an existing banner advertisement.
- Advertising costs of the various packages exclude Value Added Tax of 23% to be invoiced separately.
Partner Charity - Kiva
A percentage of all directory income generated by Business-Startup.ie will be lent to entrepreneurs overseas in less developed countries of the world who do not have access to the wealth of resources available to us here in Ireland but, who strive nonetheless to get a new business off the ground in order to provide for themselves and their families. To make an impact both at home and overseas, we have teamed up with the micro-lending website Kiva who specialise in channelling micro-loans to entrepreneurs in developing countries across the world.
