Over five hundred companies and executives have signed up to a new online service that provides senior professionals and companies with an exclusive online forum for developing business and executive career planning. Irish based company The Interventions Group launched Execpass in 2010. Execpass is a subscription based service aimed at Companies and high-level managers/professionals who are validated before they gain membership. The idea behind the service is to offer an exclusive service that will speed up business development and senior recruitment by getting straight to the decision makers.
Companies profile their business so they can engage directly with executives who may be seeking a career move. Senior professionals who are registered with Execpass can profile themselves, upload their CVs, and communicate directly with companies and executives through a private messaging function. The service appeals to companies looking to make senior hires without recourse to recruitment agencies or media advertising.
Execpass can also be used by companies as a business development tool. A company can profile their business and interact with potential customers through videos, blogs, forums and private messaging. It enables companies to gain direct access to decision-makers in other companies who can enable their company to grow quicker.
To join Execpass as a company the cost is €270 (excl Vat) for a company profile, this includes a job vacancy and business opportunities slot. Individual executive members can join the service for €195 (including Vat).
Execpass has also committed to hosting an in country networking event each year and recently hosted an offline marketing event in Galway in November 2010. Present at the event were social media experts Krishna De, John Ring, Johnny Bierne, John Breslin and Adam Coleman. All four spoke on the topic of ‘Turning online networking into real business’. Over 50 people attended the event in Galway, most of who were new executives and companies joining the service. The event was sponsored by NUIG and the HPSU Skillnet. Execpass are planning similar events in the UK and Canada for 2011.
Both Execpass and The Interventions Group operate out of offices in Clare and Dublin and are planning to recruit an additional 10 people by the end of 2011 which will see Execpass placing a presence in Canada, UK and the US. Execpass have been working with Enterprise Ireland and have achieved High Potential Start-up (HPSU) status with Enterprise Ireland. Execpass is currently seeking outside investment of €500,000 to expand the service. The membership targets for 2011 are to grow membership to 4,340 by the end of the year and over 17,000 by the end of 2013.
