Bridgewater Management are delighted to announce that they have been awarded the tender to deliver Start Your Own Business Programmes in Clare during 2011 by Clare County Enterprise Board. Lucy Reidy, Business Advisor and her team have organised an information evening on Wednesday 9th February for anyone interested in finding out about starting a business in Clare (and surrounding counties so people from Limerick and Galway are most welcome).
This Essentials of Business Start Up workshop takes place from 6.00 PM in the Woodstock Hotel, Ennis. Areas to be addressed include business plans, marketing and enterprise agency supports. Tony Griffin the Clare hurler, cyclist, speaker, author, and charity activist will attend to speak about the first two years of business of Sports ai, the company he co-founded with Tomas Madigan.
Two SYOB programmes will commence in Clare in March. Both are for six weeks, one night a week from 6 to 9PM. The first one is every Wednesday for 6 weeks from the 2nd March and the second one is every Monday from the 14th March. The programme will assist men and women who want to start a business to write a business plan. The key to writing a business plan is business planning. The programme which includes mentoring will assist participants to figure out how they will address issues such as customers, product/service, pricing, financials, staff and legalities. A hands on approach to training is taken so that participants can learn how to manage their businesses successfully.
Start Your Own Business Programmes are a small part of the service portfolio offered by Bridgewater Management. The Bridgewater Management team work with business owner managers and their teams to add value to their Marketing, Finance and Start Up Strategy. Please contact Donncha Hughes, Head of Development Services to find out how they might be able to assist your business.
