The Enniscorthy Enterprise & Technology Centre was set up as a response to the needs of the business community in the Enniscorthy region. In today's competitive environment businesses face increasing pressures in competing and maintaining commercial success. The more assistance a business receives at the initial stages the better chance it has of succeeding. The Board of Trustees of the Centre has undertaken a commitment to look for new and innovative ways to help the development of enterprise in the county. They saw the need to foster an entrepreneurial culture.

The initial idea of the board was to provide incubation units space for entrepreneurs who want to set up their own business. Enniscorthy Enterprise & Technology Centre provides a unique environment in which to develop a business. The incubation units of the centre are available for developing enterprises in a sheltered environment. Within two years these businesses will have grown sufficiently to move to their own premises.
