The Celtic Enterprises programme is about fostering a culture within young people, that encourages them to consider a career as an entrepreneur. Traditionally students leaving school had a limited range of career choices available such as going to college, completing an apprenticeship or entering the workforce. 

But what about a career as an entrepreneur ? One of the main barriers to entering business is a lack of knowledge around the key characteristics required to be an entrepreneur.

Students participating in Celtic Enterprises can benefit from participation in Enterprise Careers Advice Seminars. Not to be confused with traditional Career Guidance offered at all second level schools, Enterprise Career Advice seminars are aimed at getting students to look at the skills and qualities required to succeed in the world of business and enterprise.

Sessions are very interactive and involve students taking a look at the world of business and what it entails, as well as completing a number of self -assessment questionnaires.  These questionnaires are designed to help students assess their own suitability for life as an entrepreneur.
