November is “Business Month” at the County Library Tallaght - a new, up to the minute Business Collection is being launched, along with an exciting programme of events promoting library services to businesses - including FREE online business resources such as Lexis Nexis and Vision-Net. The launch of Business Month takes place on Thursday November 10th at 6:30pm with Mayor Caitriona Jones and guest of honour Justin Keatinge of Version 1 (www.version1.com), recently shortlisted for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

The next synergy Enterprise Platform Programme at ITT Dublin will start in May 2011. The LINC (Learning and Innovation Centre) is the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown's tangible link between the Institute and the Business Community making accessible the skills and expertise of the Institute to the business community.

JUMP START 2010 is a competition open to entrepreneurs who want to base their business in an innovative and supportive environment during their first three years of the development of the business. The LINC will provide an incubation space for twelve months and 5 days of dedicated mentoring from industry experts to the winning company. The value of this award is €20,000.

An initiative of the Action Comunity Enterprise Centre in Clondalkin which aims to create a real opportunity for an entrepreneur to reach their full potential will be launched on the 27th April 2010 by Sean Gallagher of RTÉ’s Dragons’ Den. The 2010 Business Launch is looking for entrepreneurs to enter the competition and the winning start-up business will receive a €40,000 prize fund package which will include a business premises.
All individuals with an entrepreneurial flair are asked to attend the launch on the 27th of April at 11.30am in Action Community Enterprise Centre, Bawnogue Road, Clondalkin. This will be a unique opportunity to meet the organisers and have a sneak preview of the incubation premises on offer as part of the prize. All attendees will receive an information pack on the day with materials on the competition.
