Importantly, we still look like a coffee shop, but that is where the similarity ends. It is our food that sets us apart with a strong emphasis on quality, which can only be achieved by preparation of product in house. This allows us to offer quality, value with flexibility to cater for local needs. Although our main focus is on sandwiches, our ever-expanding range includes cakes, soup, fresh juices and smoothies. We also offer healthy and gluten free options. And we’re ethical too – we only sell premium Fairtrade coffee and tea.

Through experience, nosh+coffee recognise that opportunities for franchisees will come in all shapes and sizes. We have developed three concepts that reflect different locations and levels of financial investment.

Cafe
Our standard high street offering, the nosh+coffee Cafe operates as a self-contained unit, requiring from 800-2,000 square feet. Perfect for the high street, shopping centres and commercial areas, this allows the franchise to operate as both a sit in and take out coffee shop, with a full range of coffee, hot and cold drinks, freshly prepared food, and subject to licence, wines and premium beers.

Express
For food and drink on the move, in locations such as food courts, leisure venues, stations and airports, we have the nosh+coffee Express. Requiring a minimum of 300 square feet, an Express franchise can offer the full noshncoffee range to consumers on a take away basis.

Kiosk
Where space is at a real premium, for example as a concession within retail locations, the nosh+coffee Kiosk is ideally suited. Primarily drinks led, the Kiosk can be sited in as little as 150 square feet, and be operated by a staff of two people.

As a nosh+coffee franchisee you will benefit from the support of a commited and highly experienced management team. They will give you support in four key areas:

PROPERTY

• When you have decided to go ahead, one of our management team will visit your area and with you decide on the most appropriate location for your store
• When a suitable property has been identified, nosh+coffee takes the lease on the property, and then subleases the store out to you the franchise partner
• We operate in this way because of the reluctance of landlords to grant leases to franchises who have had no previous retail business experience. It also demonstrates our faith in the potential viability of the location and in you the franchise partner, with us sharing the risk

TRAINING

• We believe that training is absolutely critical to the success of a franchise
• We have developed an extensive training programme for new franchises that enables them to open for business with confidence
• We offer ongoing refresher courses and will also train new members of your staff when they join your business
