Fortune 50 is a networking and profiling event organised for the Limerick County Enterprise Board. Entrants to the competition must use no more than 250 words to describe what their business is and what they would do with €5,000. Companies in Limerick with 10 employees or less are eligible to take part. There is an entry fee of EUR50 with a limit of 100 entrants.
Closing date for entries is the 10th of May, 2010 when an online survey will be taken to identify who are the 6 businesses with the greatest vision. Those 6 will then make a 10 minute presentation at an event on the 19th May to see who will walk away with €5,000.
Outside of the possibility of walking away with a cash prize of €5000, businesses entering will increase their profile considerably and will broaden their network. The 6 businesses shortlisted will receive 10 minutes to showcase their business to an audience of 100 of their peers. All businesses will be showcased on the event website and there will be additional publicity undertaken by the organisers.
