The Christmas Market event at the Moylish Park Campus forms part of MarketLink Entrepreneur, a multidisciplinary careers, innovation and entrepreneurship programme for students at LIT.

This is the 5th year of the showcase which is being held on Thursday 20th October from10.30am – 7.30pm. The event is being hosted by Dell Ireland at its Limerick campus in Raheen Business Park. The Showcase, organised by LIT, is being held as part of Limerick Business Week 2011.

National Womens Enterprise DayThe National Women’s Enterprise Day aims to inspire, activate and assist women across Ireland in running their own business.  The event takes place on Friday 19th November 2010 at the Strand Hotel in Limerick.  The Conference is preceded by a networking event on Thursday evening 18th November.  National Women’s Enterprise Day will feature a conference, exhibition, mentor clinics and networking opportunities.

This event offers support to women already in business and those thinking of starting out.  Speakers at National Women’s Enterprise Day include Sahar Hashemi, founder of Coffee Republic, Ivan Yates, the Newstalk Breakfast Show and Celtic Bookmakers, Mary FitzGerald, Proprietor of the Woodlands House Hotel & Spa along with a panel of female entrepreneurs drawn from the client base of the County & City Enterprise Boards.

Midwest Showcase 2010Midwest Showcase 2010, a combined seminar and exhibition on entrepreneurship and innovation in the Midwest which will be held at Thomond Park, Limerick on Thursday 21st October, has just been launched. This is the first year of the Midwest Showcase and is a joint collaboration of a number of Networks and support agencies expanding the Enterprise Acceleration Centre (EAC) at Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT) Showcase which has run successfully for the last 3 years.
