52 Small Craft Businesses Aim To Impress International Buyers PDF Print E-mail

Fifty -two craftspeople, designers and artists from around the country are hoping to make a big impact on international buyers at January's Showcase event in the RDS. The group of micro-enterprises, many of which are first-time exhibitors, are being supported by their local Enterprise Boards, to help them secure sales and export orders for 2012.

At a recent event held in UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, 50 students on the inaugural Graduates 4 International Growth Programme (G4IG) prepared to start their international business careers. The programme, an Enterprise Ireland initiative in partnership with UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, was set up to promote export led sales growth for Enterprise Ireland client companies while at the same time advancing graduates’ international business skills.
