IiBCThe IiBC Castlebar are hosting an InterTrade Ireland Equity Network Workshop on 14th May at 10:30am in the Centre.  This event is aimed at SMEs who are interested in becoming 'investor ready'.  Companies who are interested in entering the Seedcorn Competition this year can discover the process for entering the competition and received advice on what an investor looks for in a business plan. This workshop is FREE of charge.

Kieran will focus on a practical guide to the process of business planning, with particular attention to developing a one page guide that means something for the business owner/manager.

The 2013 New Frontiers Entrepreneur Programme is now open for applications.  Qualifying entrepreneurs will receive €15,000 in funding subject to satisfactory development reviews. An Information Evening is taking place in the Innovation in Business Centre (IiBC) at GMIT Castlebar on Thursday 7 th March at 5.30 p.m and again at 7.00 p.m for ambitious people who have an innovative business idea and want to learn more about this upcoming programme.  The full programme will commence in April 2013.

The aim is to help people to make a living from their own skills, ideas and initiative. Every enterprise starts with one person. Open Fair is coming to Mayo, and will be the biggest ever indoor fair event to happen in Castlebar, and it is taking place on 4th December 2011 in the Royal Theatre Castlebar from 11-6pm.
